Angels on Bare Skin

I have never really had any major problems with my skin, apart from the odd hormonal breakout. That was until I moved to a different climate and my skin went loco.
My poor pale Irish skin got a bit of a shock when I hauled ass to the heat and humidity of Western Australia. My t-zone started to get really oily and just feel gross in general.
I tried a lot of high end cleansers to try and remedy the oil slick that had appeared on my face only for the perfumes in them to cause my skin to break out. Now I had two problems, oily and spotty skin.
After about 12 months of trialling products someone recommended that I try Lush’s products. Now I love Lush’s soups and shower gels, the smell of that shop just creates instant happiness for me but I never even thought of trying their skincare line.
After a bit of online research (I cannot buy anything without researching it online first) I went to my local Lush on a mission.
The girl who helped me was amazing (to give Lush credit I have been in their stores all over the world and I always find their staff to be super professional and a joy to deal with). I explained my issues and she recommended that I try ‘Angels on Bare Faces’ cleaner.
She explained that the ingredients (listed below) in it would help combat all the issues I was having and that since it was all natural that it shouldn’t cause me to break out.
The cleaner itself is kind of weird. It’s a dry crumbly texture that you mix a little bit with water between your hands and it magically transforms itself into a paste type texture and you just cleanse your face and neck with it as you would with any normal cleanser.
The thing I love most about this cleanser is the bits of lavender that are in it, I love the smell of them and I just love that I am using lavender to clean my face. The smell of the lavender is a little bit strong, which I like but I know it’s not to everyone’s tastes.
The cleanser is messy to use and you do have to clean your sink afterwards but it’s totally worth it.
My skin looks and feels awesome when I am using this product. It probably took about 10 days for me to start seeing a difference but now even other people comment on my skin. I still have the odd hormonal breakout but when I do I just use the lush tee tree oil spray and it clears them up in no time.
Lush will give samples of their products if you ask for them so if you are interested in this, or any of their products I would try a sample first. If you want to check out the cleanser the link to the Australian site is below, if you are outside Australia just google your local lush store.
