I'll see it when I believe it - Goals for 2017

Hey Warriors,
Today's post is about goal setting and my own hopes and aspirations for the year ahead. January is traditionally the month where we all start thinking about what we want for the next 12 months. It's a time of reflection and pondering what we would like to manifest in all areas of our lives.
2016 for me was a busy year. I had a major visa application to deal with here in Australia so I could continue to live and work in this beautiful place. I started a new job, did loads of travelling in the United States and here in Australia, started writing for a website and of course started my beloved blog.
2017 is set to be just as busy for me but I wouldn't have it any other way.
As far as goal setting goes I like to divide my goals into four areas. Health/wellness, career, travel and personal goals.
Goal setting for me is a practical way of setting out what I would like to accomplish and manifest in my life. I am a great believer in the law of attraction and manifesting your desires so seeing them in writing is also a tool I use in my manifesting process. To quote Dr Wayne Dyer 'I'll see it when I believe it".

Personal Goals
I really want to find a hobby which isn’t just working or going to the gym. I don’t know what I am going to do yet but I am researching options at the moment to see what jumps out at me. I am going to read one book a month, at the moment I am reading ‘Light is the New Black’ by Rebecca Campbell and next month I will be starting ‘Thrive’ by Arianna Huffington. I want to go to at least one Broadway show and some concerts this year. I really want to go to some workshops too this year in the areas of spirituality and beauty, two very different subjects but I love them both equally.
Career
To develop my blog, improve my writing and work on some ideas I have to inspire younger girls. I would love to develop some workshops and work in collaboration with some websites and other media outlets.
Also I write children's stories and I would love to self-publish them.
I am a trained Reiki and IET practitioner and I would really love to further my studies in these areas.
Health/Wellness
I have some digestion issues so this year I am going to focus more on having a healthy diet that my gut agrees with. I am committing to working out at least four times a week for both my mental and physical health. I am going to focus on being mindful and in the moment more, I have a tendency to rush through things and I am working on slowing down and really being present in everything I do. I will meditate more and practice yoga at least once a week.
Travel
There are so many places I want to travel to this year. My top destinations are Japan, Thailand, New Zealand, Hawaii and I want to further explore Australia. I will be travelling home to Ireland this year too which I am very excited about so I would like to go somewhere there that I have never been to before with my Mum while I am home.

So these are my goals for 2017 and I am looking forward to sharing with you guys how they are progressing during the year. My hope for you is that you achieve all your goals and more in 2017.
