Audible – an adult’s version of a bedtime story.

As a child I used to love being read a story at bedtime in fact I loved being read a story at any time of the day. Listening to someone else reading aloud gives me a lovely feeling of contentment.
As an adult I love reading but I find it increasingly difficult to actually sit down and read a book without falling asleep. That’s where audible has been a lifesaver. I was chatting to my friend one day about authors we both loved when the conversation turned to how I wished I had more time to read, she went on to tell me about amazon’s website audible and ever since that day I am hooked.

The way audible works is if you sign up a member, you get your first book for free as a trial and then they charge you a set amount every month (prices vary depending on the country you are in). As a member each month you receive one credit which equates to one book and discount member prices for all audio books. Once you have chosen your book you can just download it onto your device through the free app and start listening immediately.
One of the best features of the website in my opinion is that if you are not enjoying a book for whatever reason you can return it and get another one for free.
Check it out for yourself at www.audible.com
Here are the books that are currently in my audible library.
My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella
One Hundred Names by Cecelia Ahern
The Astonishing Power of Emotions by Jerry and Ester Hicks
Wild by Cheryl Strayed
The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein
This post is in no way sponsored by audible or amazon I just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.
