Solar Eclipse Monday 21st August 2017

I have recently embarked on a journey of learning about astrology. It’s a subject I have always been interested in but haven only gotten around to actually researching it now. Better late than never I suppose.

So far, I am finding the subject so interesting I have always known that astrology was much more than horoscopes but I had no idea how much there was to it.

Since as far back as I can remember I have been fascinated by the Moon, well the whole solar system but especially the moon. I just can’t stop looking it at, I honestly think it’s the most beautiful sight in any of its phases but especially when its full.

This coming Monday is a very special day for my beloved moon as we will experience (if we are lucky) a solar eclipse. A solar eclipse is when the moon’s shadow falls on the Earth as is passes between ourselves and the sun.

Apart from this being an amazing experience for us to see (don’t look directly at it unless you have special glasses) it can cause some weird effects for us emotionally.

Unfortunately for me the eclipse will not be visible in Perth (boo), it will however be partially visible in Ireland but the big show will be in America so if you are lucky enough to be Stateside on Monday the 21st of August I strongly encourage you to google your best viewing times and places and enjoy the Universe’s show.
